Her most well-known roles include as Marina Cooper on the soap show Guiding Light and Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. She was in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds together with Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known role is her role as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. On the Guiding Light soap show, she played Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC TV series Women's Murder Club. Dollar starred in an episode of the NBC Happy Valley pilot which did not get picked up.
