Her birthday is on March 29, 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American in citizenship. Her entire life has been a fan of sports. Gerina took up golf when she was just age 15. Gerina graduated from High School studies through Goddard High School. She was the winner of at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. She went to the University of Texas in 2003. Through the latter years of her career, she was the winner of every event where she played. During her undergrad professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female Athlete of the year.
