Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports started at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She maintained her dominance and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of night. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's win was a majority decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. For a replacement last minute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
