Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round. She also received an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
