Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she had in any major capacity. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She lost the fight via majority decision.
