Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put a black mark on Ladd's records as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
