Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. She continued her dominance and scored an even stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. She also received the reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle with the fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
