Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd continued to build on her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were damaged. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill, and she managed to finish her third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound techniques, resulting in an TKO 2nd round win. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for the performance of the night. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by majority decision.
