Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to the TKO victory in the 2nd round. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
