Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. Then, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd won her next fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16, she was able to rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was victorious in an unanimous decision in some great exchanges between the two fighters was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
