Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued to dominate and won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for her performance during the evening. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. For a replacement last minute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
