Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the 5th overall pick by the Wings during the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her brothers older than her. Her parents spoilt her the most due to her being the most young. Gregory was a Nigerian Army officer for a lengthy period of period of time. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. Her mother Yolanda was a softball player for DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare plays football. Her aunt was a volleyball player at UAPB as was her cousin Endia Oliver also plays volleyball on the field at Tennessee State. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School situated within her own hometown. She was also a part of three years of varsity football while she studied there. Ogunbowale, owing to her remarkable capabilities and skills, helped lead her team to incredible victory several times. She has 73 high school start in her career, Ogunbowale is averaging 1,477 point and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale has won gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships, and the 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. This year's USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale is also part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first season in a college. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after shooting a number of big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, a relative newcomer to basketball, has already made herself a household name. She is certain to remain consistent with her basketball career. Arike Ogunbowale's wealth is about $5 million according to a reliable source.
