Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was part of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college, before being drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Wings during the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years old. She is the youngest of her siblings and received the most attention from her parents. Gregory's father was part of the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale is a highly active family. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare plays football. Ogunbowale has also received numerous awards and received fame and recognition from her time at high school. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her home town. Apart from studying Arike was a member of three varsity teams at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. Ogunbowale, owing to her remarkable talents and capabilities, led her school to stunning victory several times. She compiled her High School career with 73 starts in her career and has a total of 7,393 rebounds and 1,477 point. rebounds. Ogunbowale participated during 2013 the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and won Gold medals there. The 7th of July, 2014 was the day that Ogunbowale was selected to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also named for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale may be new to basketball, but she's quickly made herself known. Arike's net worth, as per a reliable source is about $5 million. Ogunbowale is not only an excellent basketballer. She excels at many other sports too. She also plays soccer and won three State Cup Championships with Lake County United Soccer Club. Also, she was a pianist for a long time.
