Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornwallish, an Australian actress born in August 1982, appears in a number of film parts. Cornish is famous for her roles as Heidi on Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea as Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah on Geostorm(2017). She has also collaborated with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. The latter movie Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother. The love and support from her parents made the decision to pursue acting a natural choice for the younger Betty Gilpin. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned her craft. Gilpin continued to be a candidate for television and film parts, while also appearing in Off Broadway shows. The role she got was the lead in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011, then smaller part in Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin stayed in TV as a guest star for the remainder of her time. The year 2013 was the year she got her first break as she had a recurring part on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, Carrie Roman Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, was featured in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie before the show ended on June 15, 2015. Gilpin was also in True Story (2015), the thriller.
