Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is well known for her roles in films as Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) and as Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) as well as for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish earned the first Screen Actors Guild Award with the last film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and a host of others, was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin was able to choose to become an actor due to the love and support that she got from her family. Fordham College became her choice for college, as it helped her develop and improve the skills required to be a professional actor. Gilpin continued to be a candidate for films and television roles while performing in Off Broadway shows. She landed a recurring role on the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. Then came tiny roles as a ghost on Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin was able to secure a variety of TV guest spots over the next couple of years until she received her first break, in 2013, with the role of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was a part of Nurse Jackie for 34 episodes as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it ended its run on June 2015. That identical year Gilpin was in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
